From the highs to the lows....

Well I hadnt posted much leading up to my recent trip.. Back to reality. It was like going from a big high- being surrounded by wonderful friends and having such a great time I was distracted with the thoughts of how much I am missing Ricardo and all the sadness that goes along with this whole deployment... In the beginning of the trip on the plane I felt surrounded by couples who were soo lovey dovey I was about to get sick.. LOL..

Not watching the news while in MX I was not aware of the bombing in Kabul Afghanistan. Had I learned of that while on the trip I would have gone to a complete low filled with worry.. Coming back and reading up on the bombing has made me a little worried- Ricardo said it took place just a few blocks away from him.. Not really liking this whole deployment thing after all!

Trying not to live in worry but gosh it's kinda scary thinking about whats going on over there. Seems Afganistan has been in the news far too much lately!


Check out the photos on here Ricardo has put together when you get a chance.. cant wait until he is home.. In ten more days it will have been two months that he has been gone and only four more months to go, but who's counting..
